It was in the morning hours on March 17 when laundryman, M Adhi Narayan, son of Lokenath, 48 year old, while walking on the footpath, stumbled on the pipeline and fell into the trench bordering the track.

Mount Thuillier is the highest point in the Nicobar Islands, located in the Indian Ocean and bordering on the Andaman Sea. The mount is located on the island of Great Nicobar, measuring 642 m above mean sea level. Its geology features intrusive igneous rock formations, such as gabbro, combined with metamorphic minerals such as serpentine. The hill is thought to have arisen due to tectonic activity in the region.

Two Indian Muslim clerics belonging to the Sufi school had mysteriously disappeared from Pakistan. There is a sense of demoralization among the opposition parties and the secular forces in general after the resounding victory of the BJP in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The massive victory in UP, the largest populated state of the country, has given the Prime Minister Narendra Modi an invincible stature which will continue for some time unless the opposition parties can really throw up a big challenge to the Prime Minister or  Mr. Modi himself makes a major lapse.
