A tiny village in West Khasi Hills of Meghalaya has banned fishing on a stretch of the Rilang river to preserve its fauna.

At least five passengers were injured after an STS bus overturned at Karmatang in North Andaman on Sunday. The injured have been admitted to Dr RP Hospital at Mayabunder for treatment. According to sources, the bus from Karmatang was heading towards Mayabunder when the mishap occurred at around 8.30 am.

Opposition from the Baloch national parties to the   Sixth population and housing census of Pakistan that began in mid-March is problematic.
