Anita’s talent in beauty and fashion made her popular

Beauty and fashion go hand in hand. Make-up artist and hair dresser Anita Pradhan of Bagdogra is emerging as popular day-by-day after her innovative creations in make-up and fashion which has attracted women from various regions.
Anita who is also a social worker has started her carrier in beauty and salon since her teen age. Inspired by India’s eminent beauty Gurus and support by her husband, Anita started her profession 10 years back from a small town of Bagdogra.
Her salon ‘Women’s Era’ not only deals with the customer to make beautiful women but also employees needy girls and provide free training so that they can earn bread and butter for their families.
Anita within a short span of time turned as most influential make-up artist in the region after her hard work and down to earth personality. Anita presently provides free training for five underprivileged girls and women.
She said, “My aim is not only to earn money but also to support budding artists who is dedicated into this industry and dreams to achieve success. Beauty and fashion is my passion and I always think about my innovations to make my work much better for the customer satisfaction.
Anita has already achieved appreciations in bridal and party make-up as customers has to book her in advance.
Gaitri Sharma, a student who is working under the supervision of Anita says, “Anita madam never treats us as her student but cares us as her own daughter. She is very down to earth and never irritates or scolds if we make silly mistakes.”
Rinki Mazumdar, a regular customer expresses satisfaction over Anita’s work, she said, “Anita ke hatho me jadoo hain, (There is a magic in Anita’s hand) I really appreciate her work.”
Anita now plans to establish free make-up and hair academy for the needy and those female belonging to closed tea gardens of North Bengal. (EOIC)
