Nepal resident arrested for making Indian Passports

Bagdogra police have arrested a person resident East Nepal for making forge Indian passport and other documents to send Nepali girls to abroad.
Bikram Lingden resident of Surunga under Jhapa district of Nepal was arrested from Bagdogra airport on Thursday evening after information given by a local NGO Kanchanjunga Uddhar Kendra.
Police also rescued three women residing at Nepal’s Morang, Jhapa and Tapleyjung dictricts from airport before boarding a New Delhi bound flight.
Bikram and one Minesh Gurung who is also resident of Morang had came to accompany three girls who were about to fly for Hongkong.
Bikram was arrested but Minesh manage to flee from the airport compound.
Police have recovered Indian passport, Aadhar Cards, PAN cards and other documents where the addresses were mentioned of Siliguri, Bagdora and Alipurduar in the name of three girls.
When asked to Bikram about the case he stated that he is brother of one of the victim and had came to airport to see off. He also said that he is unaware about the persons who made the forge documents.
Police is looking for the Indian person who is involved in making the documents and also enquire whether it was issued by the concern authorities.
The victims informed police that agents had charged 1lakh 35 thousand from each woman for sending to Hongkong and lured them for providing lucrative jobs and salary of Rs 60 thousand.
However the victims denied sharing any other information and refused to speak before media.
Rangu Sourya, secretary of Kanchanjunga Uddhar Kendra said, “Now more people from India and Nepal will come under police net after interrogating Bikram. The government officials including officials from Panchayat may also come under scanner if the residential certificates are issued from their offices.”
Police have slapped cases of Trafficking, Frogery, Criminal conspiracy and use the genuine of forged against Bikram and Minesh. 
The three girls have been sent to safe home while Bikram has been forwarded to Siliguri court.
