Sunil Negi dance institute opens in Bagdogra

The Sunil Negi Institute for the Performing Arts (SNIPA) was inaugurated on Thursday at Airport Plaza, Upper Bagdogra. Founder Sunil Negi, a close friend of renowned dance choreographer Remo Desouza, aims to teach impeccable dance styles to students of north Bengal and Sikkim.
The institution will subsequently spread its branches across north Bengal and Sikkim. It was inaugurated by Kanchan Kushwa, the pradhan of Upper Bagdogra Gram Panchayat along with social workers K N Pradhan, Dilchand Chhetri and others.
Sunil Negi has earned fame in Bollywood for his talent in dance and choreography and has been working relentlessly since the last 25 years. He is a member of the Choreographer and Directors' Association and the Indian Film Dance Directors Association.
He began his career by working with Ahmed Khan, Bollywood choreographer and director, in 1995 and he has worked with many noted choreographers including Vaibhavi Merchant, Ganesh H Hegde, Saroj Khan, Raju Khan and Prabhu Deva.
