Life Skill Education Prog. at Bakultala concludes

Nehru Yuva Kendra, Rangat’s 7-day Life Skill Education Programme at Govermnent Senior Secondary School, Bakultala concluded on 19/02/2018. In the valedictory function Ms. Shrimati Bepari, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Bakultala was the chief guest. Mr. C.K. Paul, Rtd. Teacher, National Awardee, Mr. Krishna Swamy, PGT, In-charge of the school, Ms. Jagadishwari Roy, GTT and Ms. Suker Muni, Trainer of the programme were also present on the occasion. Mr. Swamy lauded the efforts of Nehru Yuva Kendra and said it was very beneficial to students. Ms. Jagadishwari said such programmes will help students to become responsible citizens of the society. Ms. Bepari advised the students not to indulge in anti social activities and respect their parents.  She advised students to attend every programme for getting more information and to spread the accumulated information among peer groups for maximum benefit. She appreciated NYK and requested for similar programme in other schools. Mr. Alphonce Toppo, District Youth Coordinator, NYK, Rangat welcomed the guests. Group discussion on Water, Health and Sanitation Problems, and Unemployment and vulnerability of Adolescents  were discussed and presented by the students. In the regular session adolescent cultural and sports activities , National Flagship programmes and tours were also undertaken.
