Miscreants try to loot Diglipur SBI ATM again

An ongoing probe into the last attempt notwithstanding, miscreants tried to loot the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of State Bank of India in Diglipur again last Friday. According to information, the burglars attempted the loot in the late hours on Friday night covering faces using gunny sacks this time again and the bank authorities were looking into the CCTV footages to track the culprits. Sources informed that a forensic team has also reached Diglipur to investigate the matter and track down the burglars.
On the 10th of last month, a miscreant made an unsuccessful attempt to loot an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of State Bank of India in Diglipur area. Investigators retrieved CCTV footage where a person was seen entering ATM room wearing gunny sack. The miscreant later tried to break open the first ATM but failed. Two more ATMs in which one is a CDR machine were intact.  The police had then asked to keep the ATMs closed for two more days till the investigation continues, a local newspaper reported.
