Adventure camp starts at Temi tea garden

A two-day long Adventure Integration Camp started at Temi Tea Garden, South Sikkim, on Saturday. The camp was organised by Open Road Wanderers Motor Cycle Club of Sikkim in association with Tourism and Civil Aviation Department Govt of Sikkim and supported by Sikkim Alliance of Riders.
State Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Ugen T Gyatso Bhutia on the occasion inaugurated a new 240 metre long zip- line at Temi Tea Garden premise. It would take just 26 second to ferry goods and persons.
Naresh Chettri, President of Open Road Wanderers Motor Cycle Club of Sikkim, said: “Since the tourism ministry is promoting 2018 as the ‘Year of Indian Adventure,’ as part of it we have organised this camp. Our goal is to double the adventure activities and we have provided platforms to various new adventure enthusiasts.”  The two day camp is going to see mountain and motor bike riding, hiking, pitching tent and many more events.
