NDA govt provided more funds to Sikkim than UPA regime: BJP chief

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wing of Sikkim today claimed that the current government has given more funds than the previous UPA  regime.
DB Chauhan, president for Sikkim BJP informed that more than 1 lakh crore rupees has been allocated to Sikkim for its development and various project and schemes have been launched during the last 4 and half year. The budget focus on the overall development of the state right from the construction of highways repair of roads and bridges building infrastructure drinking water food security health education poverty elevation hydropower project etcetera all sectors have been rejuvenated and people are import through digital technology the swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The Sikkim BJP leader today also claimed that Modi government split initiative in DBT (direct benefit transfer) has benefited the people to a great extent as people now get this year directly in the bank account. Chauhan informed that the ministry of environment has received 965.3 crore in last 4.5 years. Similarly, ministry of power has received 16750 6.89 crore and ministry of health and family education received 6:40. 40 crore.  (EOIC)
