Temi Tea Mr Sikkim Manhunt audition attracts talents

Temi Tea Mr Sikkim 2018 Manhunt is the first of its kind men's pageant in Sikkim. It is a collaborative venture by GBT Entertainment, Sikkim Chronicle, and The Accelerator. Auditions are being held on Saturday and Sunday.
This pageant focuses on honing the pool of local talent into personalities who have realized their full potential delivering a message of hope while representing Sikkim in various platforms.
Throughout the process the selected 17 to 20 candidates will have to undergo many levels of grooming which include modelling, health and fitness, personality development and community reach-outs to holistically broaden the horizon of our finalists.
The theme for this year is "Let's talk mental health".
Over 200 contestants have registered in the first edition of the competition, a historic first in the history of any pageant in Sikkim.
Sikkim's most successful and iconic brand Temi Tea has tied up with the competition as its title sponsor.
Managing Director Temi Tea Mrinalini Srivastava, says that Sikkimese men who represent charisma, creativity, endurance, passion, knowledge, sensitivity, tenderness, wisdom and spiritual wealth are the common qualities Mr Sikkim Manhunt and Temi Tea shares.
She further adds that such commonalities the two shared had made this tie up a special relationship.
Event head, Pragya Satapathy while expressing satisfaction at the numbers of registrations said that quality of the event overall had been that of prime importance by the organizers and she had hoped for the contestants to shine and grow through this journey of Mr Sikkim Manhunt.
The judges for the auditions are senior journalist  Nirmal Mangar, fashion designer Rinzing Doma Bhutia, model and entrepreneur Karishma Pradhan, founder, GBT Entertainment Tenzing Dadul, actor and model Sonam Barfungpa, and founder, The Accelerator Pragya Satapathy.
Another event head, Yougan Tamang has thanked the contestants for giving an overwhelming response. “This first of its kind event will help build an ecosystem of talent to further fashion, glamour and entertainment industry in the Himalayan state,” he says.
The final will have three title holders namely: Mr Sikkim Manhunt(Winner), Mr Sikkim Kanchenjunga(1st Runners up) and Mr Sikkim Demazong(2nd Runners up) along with 10 subtitle winners who will be selected in the grooming period and their performance in the final.
