The Regional Office of India Post, Port Blair since the year 2014, have been purchasing Print Boards to be installed at Sub-Post Offices located in different parts of the Islands.

A 10 yrs old girl Ssunadi Halder, D/o Shabu Halder, R/o Mithila fell from the Kalsi Bridge. However, the girl suffered no major injuries and is safe.  She has been admitted at CHC Rangat where she is undergoing treatment. Residents are agitated over the non-completion of the Kalsi Steel Bridge which is in dire strait.
