Zonal level exhibition for schools at Kamorta

The zonal level science, arts and craft exhibition was organised  in the premises  of Govt. Model Secondary School Kamorta on Tuesday. Mr. Nishant Bodh, Assistant Commissioner Nancowrie graced the occasion as a chief guest and inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of Ms. Ayesha Majid, Chairperson Tribal Council Nancowrie. Both appreciated the work of all students and teachers. 52 working models and non working models were displayed. Embroidery, Bamboo works, wooden and sand art were also displayed in the craft section. Mr. M. Nehru, Assistant Education Officer, Nancowrie welcomed the Chief Guest, Local heads of various departments, tribal leader and head of schools.
The exhibition closed on Wednesday and the chief guest of closing ceremony, Dr. Ramya, CMO,CHC Kamorta and guest of honour Mr. Usman ,SHO, Kamorta appreciated the performance of the students at the event. Mr. M. Nehru, AEO Nancowrie gave away the prizes to winners and encouraged the children. In Science & Maths GMSSS Goal Tikry bagged the first 3 prizes and GMSS Kamorta, GSSS Champin, GMS Kakana and GMS Pilpillow  bagged the consolation prizes in Mathematics. In Arts Stream , GSSS Champin bagged the first Prize, second prze went to GMSSS Goal Tikry and third prize was bagged by INS Kardeep and consolation prizes were given to GMS Vikas Nagar. In Craft, GMSSS Goal Tikry bagged the first prize and GSSS Champin bagged the second prize and GMS Vikas Nagar secured 3rd position and Consolation prizes were won by GPS Bada Enaka and GPS Chota Enaka. A large crowed including children and parents responded to the exhibition and appreciated the efforts being taken by the students and the Education Departments.
