AllBank Observes Vigilance Awareness Week

Allahabad Bank is observing Vigilance Awareness Week from 30.10.2017 to 04.11.2017 with the theme “My Vision - Corruption Free India”. Bank is organising debates, slogan writing, poster making, drawing competition etc. at various schools and colleges across the country for increasing vigilance awareness among the youth. Rural and Semi-urban branches of Bank are organizing “”Awareness Gram Sabhas” for dissemination of awareness in Gram Panchayats to sensitize citizens on the ill-effects of corruption. Apart from this, all the employees are taking “Integrity e-pledge”. For spreading awareness SMS/E-mail were sent to all the customers of the Bank. A number of activities are also being undertaken to upgrade the level of awareness amongst employees including a “Walkathon” on 02.11.2017 in Kolkata.
As a part of the programme, a pledge taking ceremony was held on 30.10.17 at Head Office which was administered by Usha Ananthasubramanian, Managing Director & CEO of the Bank. The messages from President of India, Vice President of India, and Chief Vigilance Commissioner were read out by N.K. Sahoo, Executive Director, S. Harishankar, Executive Director and   executive of the Bank during the above programme. (EOIC)
