ER to run 3 pairs of Holi Special

To clear the rush of passengers, Eastern Railway will run three pairs of special trains during Holi Festival. Out of three pairs of Holi Specials, two pairs will run between                    Howrah and Muzaffarpur and one pair between Sealdah and Kamakhya.
Howrah-Muzaffarpur Holi Special will leave Howrah on March 19 & 26 (Sundays). 05227 Howrah-Muzaffarpur Holi Special will leave Howrah at 6 am and reach Muzaffarpur at 6.30 pm the same day. 05228 Muzaffarpur-Howrah Holi Special will leave Muzaffarpur at 2.50 pm and reach Howrah at 3 am the next day. The train will have General Second Class, Sleeper Class and                      Air-Conditioned coaches.
02261 Sealdah-Kamakhya Holi Special will leave Sealdah on Friday on March 10 at 11.55 pm and reach Kamakhya at 6.35 pm the next day. 02262 Kamakhya-Sealdah Holi Special will leave Kamakhya on March 11 at 8.10 pm and reach Sealdah at 12.35 pm the next day. The train will have Air-Conditioned coaches.
Special train to Tarakeswar: To cope with the expected heavy rush of visitors on the occasion of Shiva Ratri Mela at Tarakeswar, Eastern Railway will run one pair of EMU Special between Howrah and Tarakeswar on February 24 and 25 (Friday and Saturday). The Up train will leave Howrah at 12.35 pm and reach Tarakeswar at 2.15 pm. The Down train will leave Tarakeswar at 2.30pm and reach Howrah at 4.15 pm.
Special stoppage of train for Madhyamik examinees: For the convenience of the Madhyamik examinees, Eastern Railway will provide additional stoppage of 13018 Azimganj – Howrah Ganadevta Express at Lohapur station between Morgram and Takipur on Azimganj – Nalhati section on February 22, 23, 25, 27, 28 February and 1, 2 March, 2017 as a temporary measure.
