Ramakrishna Mission Shilpamandira ,which is a household name in the field of technical education (Diploma)  and skill development training, has firmed up arrangements for substantially augmenting facilities for training of youth and thereby enabling  them to upgrade their skills and realise their livelihood goals.
Keeping in view the persisting shortage of high quality-low cost coaching facilities, Shilpamandira has leveraged its online computer testing facility and its network with established coaching faculties from the city-based Athenaeum and PICA of Patna. The coahing fee has been fixed at just Rs 2,000 per month. The second initiative is for training in digital marketing, a discipline with encouraging prospects for employment.
For this purpose, Shilpamandira has collaborated with the Bangalore-based Centre for Entreneurial Excellence (CEE). In this case too, the fee has been fixed at a modest Rs 2,000 per student (elsewhere, the fee ranges between Rs 15,000 and Rs40,000). Shilpamandira is optimistic that even the amount of Rs2,000, which represents the Google certification fee, may be waived before long. The entire fundingfor this project is being done by   CEO of CEE Dr Somdatt Singh, according to the organisation sources.
For those who cannot come to Shilpamandira Computer Centre, the outfit has started an online training portal christened Vivek Web School. Even housewives and fulltime employees can avail themselves of this facility sitting at home. The course material is in Bengali.
