2 Apr 2018

On   March 29   at about 10.43 pm   a mentally disabled boy got down from an UP train at Dum Dum metro station. Suddenly, he started running towards Noapara through the UP line track. Seeing this, his brother also started running to rescue him. On seeing this, the on duty RPF staff tactfully managed to rescue both of them and brought them to the station master’s office of Dum Dum station. During   interrogation by the station master and on duty RPF staff, it was learnt that they were returning from Central station after consulting a Psychiatrist. Then, the station master released them after getting a written under taking. (EOIC)
