SER to run 25 pairs of weekly winter special trains

With a view to clear extra rush of passengers during winter, South Eastern Railway (SER) has decided to run twelve pairs of special trains between Santragachi-Chennai-Santragachi from January 10 to March 29 and 13 (Thirteen) pairs of special trains between Santragachi and Puducherry during the period from January 6 to April 2.
06057 Santragachi-Chennai Central Weekly Special leaving Santragachi at 11.50 pm every Thursday will reach at Chennai Central at 5.30 am on Saturday. In the opposite direction, 06058 Chennai Central-Santragachi Weekly Special leaving Chennai Central at 3.15 pm every Wednesday will arrive at Santragachi on 7.00 pm the next day.
The special train consisting of two AC-3Tier, ten Sleeper Class  and two General Second Class Coaches will have stops at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore and Gudur stations en route.  
06009 Santragachi-Puducherry Special leaving Santragachi at 2.10 pm every Monday will reach Puducherry at 8.45 pm on the next day. In the opposite direction, 06010 Puducherry-Santragachi Special leaving Puducherry at 7.15 pm every Saturday will arrive at Santragachi at 04.30 am on Monday. The special trains consisting of one AC-2 Tier, one AC-3 Tier, seven Sleeper class and six General Second Class coaches will have stops at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu and Villupuram stations en route.
