SER’s excellent performance highlighted in ZRUCC meeting

The 100th Zonal Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) Meeting was held under the chairmanship of S N Agrawal, general manager of South Eastern Railway (SER) at Riviera Hall near Howrah Station this morning.
The meeting was attended by MPs Sultan Ahmed and Bidyut Baran and 24 other members representing various fields including Chamber of Commerce and Industries, passenger associations etc. from three states- West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand which fall under the jurisdiction of SER. Additional Director General, Railways, West Bengal and IG Railway, Odisha were also present. The MPs and members were apprised of the excellent performance and developmental activities of SER through a Power Point Presentation.
The general manager said that it is a matter of great pride that SER has received the Govind Vallabh Pant Shield from railway minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu for overall performance in the National Railway Week Celebrations held at Raipur recently. GM said that Traffic Transportation Shield was also won by SER for record performance in Freight as well as Passenger Traffic.
