FICN peddling mastermind arrested by NIA

Patna wing of national investigation agency (NIA) today arrested a key-person of fake currency peddling racket from Mohanpur area under Baishnabnagar police station.   After arresting Mohammed Raisuddin acting on a tip off, NIA officials produced him in court and took into transit remand.
It has been learnt from sources that one Afroz Ansari was arrested in Patna on September 19, 2015 by police. Fake Indian currency notes (FICN) amounting Rs 5.94 lakh was confiscated from Ansari.
Patna court transferred the probe to NIA on December 16, 2015.
While grilling Ansari, NIA officials came to know about Mohammed Raisuddin in leading an FICN peddling racket. Eventually he was picked up by NIA team today.
NIA officials expect of receiving some major breakthroughs by grilling their new catch.
