Ward Development Society office at Mangshila opened

The Ward Development Society office under Sikkim State Rural Livelihood Mission  (SSRLM) of Lower Jusing under Mangshila-Tibuk GPU of North Sikkim was inaugurated on Monday at Mangshila.  The function was attended by zilla member Zomin Limboo in the presence of Block Project Manager Yowal Lepcha, Community Organiser, Tashi Tongden Lepcha, panchayat members and self-help group members.
Panchayat President Meena Maya Limboo highlighted how the self-help groups in Mangshila had been formed.  She also appealed to all self-help group members to work in coordination for the development and livelihood. 
The Block Project Manager SSRLM underlined the roles and responsibilities of the self-help groups and how these could be upgraded for a better livelihood.  The BPM also explained the different trainings likely to be given to the self-help group members. 
The chief guest in his speech said the Mangshila-Tibuk gram panchayat unit had ensured proper implementation of women empowerment in the area. He also congratulated all the self-help group members of Lower Jusing on being owner of the Ward Development Society office.
