Five die in Florida airport shooting

A suspect is in custody in Florida after a man opened fire at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, killing five people and wounding eight others. The man identified as Esteban Santiago, upon arriving at the airport, started firing at baggage claim on Friday, CNN news quoted Broward county Sheriff Scott Israel as saying. The 26-year-old suspect has been taken into custody. The motive behind the attack is yet to be known, according to law enforcement officials. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has not ruled out terrorism, officials said.
