Annual tariff for counter/hoarding at RGWSC fixed

To facilitate Tourist Boat and Water Sports Operators, the Directorate of Tourism has fixed the annual tariff for allotment of space at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex for ticket counter/hoardings for advertisement etc. Accordingly, existing Permanent Structure of tkt. counter
(Will be allotted only to the recognized & registered associations related to water sports activities) will be charged Rs 25,000/- per year, open space for erecting temporary tkt. counter (size approx.5ft X 6ft) will be charged Rs 25,000/- while Surface area 20 sq ft. for hoarding (size 4 ft X 5 ft) will be charged Rs 10,000/- per year.
As per the terms and conditions, the temporary ticket counter/ hoardings should be made of pre-fabricated materials, ticket counter will be used for issue of tickets to the vessels/water sports activity which has a valid registration of the registration authority for operation, there shall be no harassment of tourists/touting by the operators within the premises of RGWSC. If any particular operator is found to be involved in this activity, necessary action shall be taken against him for cancellation of his permit, every operator shall prominently display the rates and the services offered for the benefit of tourists within the counter allotted, the operator shall not sublet or transfer the space to any other person in any manner, the hoarding will be restricted within the maximum approved size and should be made of quality materials. Any materials outside the approved area will be deemed to be discarded, the hoardings will be placed only at the designated and allotted area within the RGWSC, the space for hoardings will be provided to tourist boat/adventure water sports operators of RGWSC first. The left out space will be allotted to other tourism promotion activities or agencies, the department will have full right to discard the hoarding, if it is not found suitable and not as per the specification, in case of any dispute or differences, the decision of the Director (Tourism) will be final and binding upon the firm and in case of failure to abide with the terms and condition, the allotment will be stand terminated and the rent deposited will be forfeited.
