BOUQUETS:

1- Congratulation to Cyclists, Ms. Deborah and Master Emerson for bringing laurels to Islands by winning two Gold and one Silver medal respectively in Track Asia Cup Cycling Championship 2016 held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Velodrome, New Delhi. Well Done!

2- In order to prevent crocodile attack, South Andaman Forest Division has constituted four Joint Patrolling teams. The teams include officials from Forest, Police and PRI members. Good Job!

3- Congratulation to Islands’ Junior Scientist, K. Girijith Majan, a student of Ummat Public School for winning bronze medal and 16th position out of 640 participants, at the first India International Innovation Fair (IIIF), held at Bangalore International Exhibition centre.

 

BRICKBATS:

1- The connectivity of BSNL mobile and broadband  getting worse in South Andaman and worst  in inter islands. Wake up,  BSNL!

2- The crew members are facing tough time to work in old and dilapidated ships, leads to major accidents and even death. Authorities need to take care.

3- The LED bulbs issued from site offices are not good enough, they hardly work for couple of days and then blast, some do function, though.
