BRW Music enthrals visitors at Beachfest

BRW Music Wing presented a super-hit shows during the Beachfest  on January  11, 13 and 14 at Wandoor and Corbyn’s Cove.  Suneeta the anchor along with Abhijit, Pawan, Ramzan  and  Wasi (Nicobari) the singers, enthralled the audiences with heart-warming presentations. People were missing the appearances of Waahid the dynamic performer of these islands, who was away from screen  and  stage for more than a month, made a noticeable comeback with the Kishore  number  "Maa tho hai maa- Maa jaisi duniya mein hai koi kahan"  and  the fans rolled down to tears showering their blessing and  cash prizes on him. Keeping the sentiments of Pongal in mind Shah also rendered Aluma Dolama and other hit Tamil songs.
"The response of the audiences at both the places were amazing. This is the first series of shows that I am doing after my Mom's demise. I had paid homage to so many in my life, but this time around with a heavy heart I had to start with a number dedicated to my own lovely mother. On 14th evening also there was a huge public demand to present the same number,” said Mr Waahid.
Dignified guests from A&N Administration including the Secretary Art & Culture, Smt Neha Bansal also witnessed scintillating performances of BRW. The Assistant Commissioner & Deputy Director of Tourism, Mr Rajesh Chowdhry appreciated the performance of BRW artistes. A  tourist, Mr. RK. Gulati, (a senior citizen), who also is a TV show presenter from Delhi danced along and  posed for pictures with Waahid.
