Burglary case solved

On February 16, the anti-burglary squad of PS Pahargaon comprising PCs RS Rakesh and Bhasker Rao led by SI Manoj Lall nabbed accused Saied Ali (36 yrs), resident of  Namunaghar while he was clandestinely trying to sell gold ornaments to a petty shopkeeper in the city. On interrogation, it revealed that the jewellery were stolen from a temple at Mayabunder and it was found that FIR had already been registered at PS Mayabunder against unknown accused person for stealing gold ornaments from the temple. On the same day the accused along with seized gold ornaments worth around Rs. 35000 was handed over to staff of PS Mayabunder for further action.
The detection was made under the command of Insp. Sahil Samsuddin, SHO PS Pahargaon under the direct supervision of Mr Nishant Gupta, Dy. SP (SA).  The general public have been requested to pass on any credible information pertaining to illegal transportation/sale of liquor, gambling or any other illegal activities on the following telephone numbers 233077, 232405, 232400, 250525, 232232 & 100. The identity of the informer will be kept secret.
