Career guidance prog for wards of police personnel held

Under the guidance of Director General of Police, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Mr Rajesh Malik, a Career Guidance Programme was organized by Smt Usha Rangnani, Superintendent of Police (AP/SAP) for the benefit of wards of police personnel here with the support of  staff of Police Lines on Friday. The programme was aimed at providing structured career guidance to the students so that they are better informed about higher educational opportunities and occupational choices and thus are able to shape their career and steer it in right direction.
Experienced faculties from various prestigious Educational Institutions at Port Blair like Dr.P.K.Das Gupta, Director of ANIIMS, Dr.R.P.Palanisamy, Associate Professor in Commerce, JNRM, Port Blair, Dr.Anitha Banerjee, Associate Professor of Law College, Port Blair,  Dr.Deepanshu, Lecturer in DBRAIT Dollygunj, Mr P.Abdul Salam, Associate Professor, Department of BBA Tourism and Mr Abhishek, Lecturer in DBRAIT, Dollygunj, Port Blair spoke various subjects and held open discussion and interaction with the participants.  Participants raised various questions to clear their doubts to build up a bright future in their life.  Altogether, 50 police personnel and 150 wards of police personnel of different age groups participated and benefitted from the programme.
