CBSE 2018 Board Exams from March 5

The Central Board of Secondary Education has announced the schedule for Class X and XII Board exams on Thursday. Around 11,86,144 students are expected to appear in All India Secondary School Certificate Examinations (Class XII) exams, while 16,38,552 students are expected to appear in All India Senior School Examination (Class X). As per reports, all CBSE affiliated schools will be conducting the practical exams from mid-January and complete it by January 31. Details of the examination schedule is available on the official website of CBSE, www.cbse.nic.in.
As the announced schedule, the first examination for Class XII students slated to commence on March 5, 2018 is English, while the last exam, Home Science, will be conducted on April 2018. For Class X, the first paper is Information and Communication Technology to be conducted on March 5 and the last, Painting, on April 4, 2018. This will be the first board exam for Class X students after the CBSE decided to junk the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) and reintroduce the board exams.
