Child Protection Committee In Shoal Bay Panchayat

Gram Panchayat, Shoal Bay has been declared as “Child Friendly Village” last Saturday with the formation of the Panchayat’s Child Protection Committee. Mr. Udit Prakash Rai, Secretary RD, PRI, ULB’s / Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman was chief guest on the occasion. The function was also attended by Smt. Kiran Tigga, Chairman UTCPCR, Smt Rubina Siddique, member UTCPCR, Smt Geeta Raj, member UTCPCR, Mr Rajender Pal, Executive Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Ferrargunj, Mr Tamilarasan, Police Officer in charge, Police outpost Wimberly Gunj and members of Child Protection Committee, Gram Panchayat, Shoal Bay and villagers.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman, DCPU, Mr Udit Prakash Rai highlighted about the importance of committee and appealed each member of committee to play an important role and work for safety, security, uplift  and well being of needy children. The Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Shoal Bay,  Smt Mary Pushpa and Pramukh, Panchayat Samit Ferrergunj. Mr Sandeep Biswas also spoke about the importance and formation of such committee and expressed gratitude to Mr Udit Prakash Rai, Chairman DCPU (SA) Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman and his team for declaring Gram Panchayat Shoal Bay as “Child Friendly Village”.
