The Chairperson along with SVC, JVC, Councillors and officials of APWD & PBMC visited the Dhanikari Dam today to take stock of availability of water in the dam in view of present availability of  water for supply to the residents of PBMC area. PBMC receives water from APWD & ensures its distribution to various parts of cities. Due to declining water level in Dhanikari Dam APWD was not able to maintain consistent supply of water to our command tank which attracted complaints from few sections of society. It was informed by Execitive Engineer, PHED that since monsoon has commenced water level in the dam has started rising and sufficient water will be available for supply in the days to come. Chairperson directed to explore the feasibility for daily supply of treated water to public.
