Close shave for two near Hornbill Nest

Reckless driving imperilled the life of two youths after the driver of a Mahindra four-wheeler lost control and plunged the vehicle into the sea near Hornbill Nest near Corbyn’s Cove on Monday. Both the riders escaped with minor injuries in the mishap, according to reports.
Sources say that the accident occurred at around 9.40 pm yesterday, when the two, reportedly in an inebriated state, were driving towards Corbyn’s Cove in the vehicle bearing registration no. AN01M6161. The traffic cops hauled the vehicle from the sea in the morning hours on Tuesday using JCB machines.
