Community dev. prog. by Chennai Diocese of Believers Church

Believers Church, Chennai Diocese through its zonal office here organized a community development program in continuation of its many philanthropic works in India. Saw Tathu, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad, North and Middle Andaman graced the programme as the chief guest accompanied by Sunny Varghese Forest Range Officer, Tugapur as the guest of honour. The other dignitaries of the church namely Fr. Titus Daniel, Fr. Ranjit Paswan, Fr. Shantiel Hembrom were also present for the program.
Free cows, goats, tin sheets and sewing machines were distributed to the poor and needy people so that they  make a living out of that benefit and sustain their families. The guests lauded the good efforts the church is doing and encouraged the gathering to make good use of the benefits they received. A total of 49 persons were benefitted through this program.  There are five Bridge of Hope centers through which 450 children are being benefitted by giving them free tuition, free meals, hygiene supplies, school supplies etc.
The Believers Church with the Metropolitan Dr.K.P.Yohannan who is the head of the church and with the council of 22 bishops, the priests, and faithfuls is doing work in the service of God and humanity in our country. The Church has 86 Dioceses with parishes and faithful scattered across in 14 countries.
