Comrade Vyas remembered

The Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association, A & N Islands observed the 2nd death anniversary of Comrade S.K.Vyas, a legendary leader and former president of the Confederation of Central Govt. Employees & Workers, New Delhi on February 13 at Crusade House premises. Speaking on the occasion, Mr S.N.Mishra, vice president of the Association recalled the visit of Com. Vyas to these islands and his contribution to resolve the issue of increase in school timing. Mr D.Ayyappan, general secretary, A &N Gazetted Officers’ Association, recalled the sacrifices made by Com. Vyas for the benefits being enjoyed by the central government employees. Mr T.S.Sreekumar, General Secretary called upon the employees to follow the path shown by Com. S.K.Vyas who has been an inspiration for all central government employees in the country. Mr R.Surendran Pillai, asst. general secretary; Mr Venkat Rama Rao, organising secretary; Mr S.L.Vinjit, secretary, SATB;  Mr Sanjiv Singh, secreatry, Agriculture Branch; Smt Reba Rani Sarkar, secretary, DHS Sub-Committee also spoke on the occasion and paid tribute to the struggles and sacrifices made by the leader for the benefit of central government employees and workers. Mr R.Rajendran, asst. general secretary of the association proposed the vote of thanks.
