CS inaugurates silver jubilee celebration of KEMS

The Kamaraj English Medium School (Sr. Secondary), Brookshabad is celebrating its Silver Jubilee from Tuesday. The Chief Secretary, Andaman and Nicobar Administration, Mr Anindo Majumdar inaugurated the year long programme today as the chief guest.
In his address, the Chief Secretary congratulated all the stake  holders  particularly the School Management, Principal, Vice-Principal , teaching and non-teaching staff and also all the students who are present.  He emphasised on the need to have a small Swimming Pool inside the complex because all infrastructural facilities what ever needed is available in the school. He also lauded the great leader Bharat Ratna late Kamaraj’s vision in the field of education and introducing of mid-day meal to the school students in Tamil Nadu first in India.  The student must not be a brilliant one but a brilliant achiever in the world. He also witnessed the photo galleries of eminent old members of the Management who were the vital role for the establishment of this school and alumni, teaching staff etc displaced there.  The  Silver Jubilee LOGO of the school was also introduced by the Chief Secretary by clicking the button in addition to a small presentation about  history of the school.
A small cultural programme was also presented by the school students in which the Environmental protection and its pollution and the way to make greeneries was appreciated by the Chief Secretary.
Earlier, the school Principal Smt V.S.Beena welcomed the gathering. The Vice-Principal, Mr J. Manimuthu proposed the vote of thanks.
