In a letter from the General Secretary, Jan Kranti Party A&N Islands, Mr. Mohd. Saheed Ali to the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman dated 21.02.2018, the party has request for extension of the closing date of the online registration of applicants for the Patwari Examination. The letter states that thousands of applicants have been rejected while submitting their applications due to various reasons while applying for the Post of Patwari Examination online. The reason stated is that the applicants are unable to register online due to poor internet connectivity which is a curse for citizens of our islands, and also that applicants do not get clarification online about the status of their applications submitted. It is after they personally attend the DC office and seek clarification from concerned staff, only then they come to know whether they have been rejected or not, more so the reason for rejection is also not informed. The Jan Kranti Party feels strongly that injustice is being done to poor unemployed youth of the Islands and therefore they seek the respected Deputy Commissioner’s  help to give more time to the aspirants.
