Diverse events planned to celebrate 4 years of Modi government: Jolly

The Bharatiya Janata Party, A & N Islands will organise diverse events to highlight the achievements in four years of Narendra Modi government. Speaking to scribes, the party state president, Mr Vishal Jolly informed about the schedule of programmes to be organised after NDA government completed four years on May 25. The Member of Parliament, Mr Bishnu Pada Ray was also present on the occasion. “The party will reach out to the masses highlighting a series of development works carried out in the last four years in these islands. On Monday, party leaders, office bearers and workers cleaned statues of freedom fighters and the premises of Cellular Jail. A bike rally will be organized on June 2 in the city, while a cleanliness campaign will be conducted at Gandhi Statues and Kamaraj Statues on June 6,” informed Mr Jolly.
“The party will organise programmes in at least 44 gram panchayats of these islands during which government's achievements and plans will be disclosed to the public. Those who have benefited from the government's schemes will share their stories during the events, while others will sensitized on the benefits of several flagship schemes launched by the Union Government in the past 4 four years. The Mahila Morcha here will meet people from the lower class on June 11 during which schemes launched for their welfare will be highlighted. Booth level meetings will also be organized,” he said. Conference of prominent citizens will be organized in all the districts of these islands to showcase the achievements of the government. The BJP Incharge of A & N Islands, Mr Tarun Chug is scheduled to arrive here on June 5 and will address a public gathering at Chouldhari. Similar programmes will be held on June 6 at Mayabunder and at Rangat and Kadamtala on June 7, he added.
