European Union Film Festival gets underway at Andaman Club

The week-long European Union Film Festival got underway to a colourful start at Andaman Club here on Sunday. Organised by the Directorate of Information Publicity & Tourism, Directorate of Arts & Culture & Kala Kendra, A&N Administration in association with Directorate of Film Festival, Ministry of InformationMoIB, Govt. of India & Delegation of the European Union to India, the Film Festival will be held till July 7 during which various movies will be screened.  The Director of Information, Publicity and Tourism, Mr Amit Anand, Director of Industries, Mr Ajid Anand, Managing Director of ANIIDCO, Mr Yashpal Garg, ambassador of Swachh Bharat Mission, A & N Islands, Mr Naresh Chander Lal graced the inaugural function.
On the inaugural day, The Magic of Children   was screened from 9 am, while  Labyrinthus was screened from 11.30 am, Viktoria from 2 pm, Cowboys from 4.30 pm and Boy on the Bridge from 7 pm. Tomorrow, Tiger Theory  will be screened from 2 pm to 4 pm,  Land of Mine  from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm and   Walk with Me  from 7 pm to 9 pm. On July 3, The Man Who Looks Like Me will be screened from 2 pm to 4 pm, Unexpected Journey from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm and 9-Month Stretch from 7 pm to 9 pm.
