Former ZP Up-Adhyaksh expresses gratitude to WB CM

The former Up-Adhyaksh of Zilla Parishad, South Andaman, Mr Sudhir Biswas has expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Ms Mamata Banerjee, for constitution of Matua Welfare Board and establishment of Shri Harichand and Shri Guruchand University in the State. “History will also remember you for your sacrifices and struggle for the welfare of people of West Bengal as also other States and abroad. We look forward to your support and guidance for development of Matuaism in these islands as also to participate in Matua activities like Mahabaruni, Mohautsab and Sammelan,” said Mr Biswas urging the Chief Minister to arrange a Matua Sammelan under the management of West Bengal government for enhancement of social and cultural ties among the Matua society.
