Gambling den busted, 5 held

The team of police station Pahargaon has busted a gambling den and arrested five persons along with recovery of Rs 25 thousand. Upon receipt of information regarding gambling at Dollygunj Village, a police team comprising SI P Jeevan, Police Constables Sameer Das, Abdul Salam and S N Pathak raided a gambling den recently at Dollygunj village and arrested the five persons involved in gambling. Around Rs. 25,000 in cash and a deck of playing cards were recovered from the possession of accused who were identified as J. Shiva Venkat, Shankar, Someshwar Rao, B. Rajesh and E. TimmiRaju, all residents of Old Pahargaon.

The raid was conducted under the supervision of Insp. Sahil Shamsuddin, SHO Pahargaon under overall supervision of Mr Nishant Gupta, DySP (SA).
