Honour for SpiceJet Security Officer

The Department of Environment and Forest awarded a special Appreciation Certificate to Smt Saida, Security Officer, employed with SpiceJet Airlines on the occasion of Independence Day on Wednesday. While on duty on 25-06-2018, Smt Saida detected illegal imports from the baggage of one air passenger. The baggage contained sea cucumber, priced in crores in the international market, and immediately informed the Forest Department. In recognition of her devotion for duty, the Forest Department presented the Appreciation Certificate to Smt Saida and encouraged her to pass on such credible information so that the green gold of these islands is not further plundered.
