Hostel facility inaugurated at Shoal Bay Panchayat

A new hostel facility was inaugurated in Shoal Bay Gram Panchayat under the Child Friendly village scheme on Monday. Mr Udit Prakash Rai, Deputy Commissioner (SA), Chairman DCPU, inaugurated the facility in the presence of DCPU Official, Mr Rajendra Paul, Executive Officer, Smti. Mary Pushpa, Pradhan Gram Panchayat and member Gram Panchayat, Child Protection Committee.
Around 13 boys and girls shall be accommodated in the hostel and will mitigate the suffering of students of the Shoal Bay No-19 being experienced for the past 50 years. In his address, Mr Udit Prakash Rai, informed the gathering that the arrangement of the hostel  is temporary for a period of one year until the Shoal Bay -19 is connected with black top road. He also stressed on early completion of construction work of individual household toilets and sensitised the gathering about the legal implication involved for not completion of construction work with the stipulated period. Mr Manojit Sardar, Sarpanch, Gram Panchayat Shoal Bay, expressed gratitude to the Chairman DCPU and Gram Panchayat, Shoal Bay for providing the hostel facilities in the region.
