Invitation for Expression of Interest from Chartered Accounts

The A & N Islands has constituted a State Child Protection Society under section 106 of Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 under the integrated Child Protection Scheme. The State Child Protection Society has been registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860. The registration No. is 1414/11 dated 17/10/2011. The society receives funds from Government of India, Ministry of Women and Child Development annually. The State Child Protection Society has a governing body with the following personnel :  Chairperson: Secretary (Social Welfare), A & N Administration. Vice – Chairperson: Joint Secretary/ Director Social Welfare, A & N Administration. Convenor: Superintendent (JH), Directorate of Social Welfare, A & N Administration. Members: Superintendent of Police (South Andaman District), Director (Health), Director (Employment and Training), Director (Education), Director (LSG), Senior Account Officer (Finance), Senior Manager (Child Line), Deputy Secretary (Law).
The details of scope of work and funds received by the society from government of India in last three years are available on the website www.and.nic.in. The society invites ‘Expression of Interest’ from registered, interested and reputed Chartered Account firms having their office at Port Blair, South Andaman to carry out Annual Audit of the accounts of the society, with profile of work done in the last three years and the professional fees to be charged. The details should reach the Director, Integrated Child Protection Scheme, Directorate of Social Welfare,  Port Blair in sealed cover on or before October 31.
