IRBn apprehends 3 Burmese nationals from Hut Bay

A joint team of the Indian Reserve Battalion and Police has apprehended at least three Burmese nationals from Little Andaman on Wednesday. An anti-poaching operation was launched after the Police spotted three Burmese dingy anchored off the shore at Little Andaman around three days ago.
As per sources, the wooden dingies were seized and massive operation was launched to apprehend the Myanmarese national, who sneaked into Indian territory illegally. On Wednesday night, the IRBn team apprehended three Burmese nationals from Junction Tekry area. A team of around 40 IRBn personnel and police are continuing the combing operation suspecting the numbers of Burmese nationals to be more. The apprehended Myanmarese nationals have been detained at Police Station, Hut Bay and are likely to be sent to Port Blair tomorrow, as per reports.
