Jolly inaugurates Urban Renewal Project at Junglighat

The member of Home Ministry Advisory Committee,  Mr Vishal  Jolly, inaugurated the Urban Renewal Project at Junglighat in the presence of Mr Indra Pal Singh, Chairperson, PBMC and Smt Anusia Devi, Councillor Ward No-9 on Friday. The project includes basic infrastructure like cement concrete roads, drainage system, culvert parking places and other civic facilities. The work was initiated under the Central Government Scheme of Urban infrastructure development scheme for small and medium towns.
In his address, Mr Vishal Jolly, Member HMAC exhorted the Port Blair Municipal Council to take up such projects to every corner  of the municipal limit as per the need of the local populace. The Chairperson, PBMC while speaking on the occasion informed that the Council is working on war-footage to provide basic and quality civic amenities in all the wards under the Council. Elected representatives and officers / officials of the Council were also present on the occasion.
