Kuldeep motivates unemployed to adopt self enterprise

The three day leadership development programme for Labour Cooperatives organised by Rajiv Gandhi Cooperative Training Centre of A &N State Cooperative Union, Teylerabad concluded on Wednesday Mr Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Chairman, A& N State Cooperative Union  graced the occasion as chief guest. He stressed on the importance of cooperatives in employment generation and the role being played  by cooperatives in the economy of A&N Islands. He appealed the trainees to motivate the rural youth for promoting their cooperatives  for self employment in the light of lack of employment opportunity in govt sector. “Fisheries and tourism sector offers vast potential of growth and hence, more youth can promote their cooperatives  for self employment and economic growth.”
“Mr Sharma  said that the IT sector in the years to come offer more scope for employment generation and hence, youth of these islands should be equipped with more skill to get involved in IT sector, too. He further assured the trainees all possible support to resolve the issues  being faced by them. On the query raised by the trainees, Mr Sharma offered more training programes for cooperatives, SHGs, skill upgradation and women folk. Among others spoke on the occasion includes Mr Ananda Rao, General Secretary, A&N State Cooperative Union and Suresh Babu, RGCTC. Altogether 30 participants attended the programme. The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Ranjitha, Programme Coordinator(Faculty), RGCTC.
