LG drives down MA highway

The Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Admiral D. K. Joshi (Retd.) took residents of the Middle Andaman region by surprise when he personally drove his official vehicle on the Andaman Trunk Road during his visit to the region on Tuesday. In the first leg of his two-day visit, the Lt. Governor, accompanied by senior officials of the administration, met the PRI members and other HODs at Baratang Forest Guest House, inspected  Baratang Jetty and visited Sr. Sec. School, Oral Katcha.
The Lt. Governor, later, visited Uttara Jetty and inspected the ongoing construction of the bridge over Humfrey Strait. He also took stock of issues at PHC Kadamtala and interacted with PRI members at the Community Hall, Rangat before leaving for Mayabunder in the evening.
