MeitY sponsored State Level workshop on DigiLocker, OpenForge at DBRAIT

The Govt. of India is giving thrust on implementation of two key initiatives under Digital India Programme viz. DigiLocker, a flagship initiative by MeitY to provide a secure digital wallet to every citizen for storing critical personal documents and  OpenForge – platform for open collaborative development of e-Governance applications created by MeitY.
To enable various departments under UT Administration for seamless adoption of these initiatives, the Dept. of Computer Science & Engg, BRAIT in association with Department of IT, A & N Administration will be organizing a 2-day State-level Sensitization workshop on DigiLocker & OpenForge on 12th and 13th Feb 2019 for all the departments of A & N Administration in the Conference Hall of the BRAIT Auditorium. The workshop is sponsored by National eGovernance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity), Government of India.
The target participants for the DigiLocker workshop are representatives from all departments of UT Administration including schools and Higher Education Institutes and for OpenForge Workshop the target participants are from IT Department, SeMT members, State NIC units, State Software Development Agencies and Academia involved in software development.
The resource persons for the workshop will be from National eGovernance Division (NeGD), GoI. In this regard, requests are being sent by the Department of IT, A & N Administration, to concerned departments to depute officers and IT Cadre staff concerned for implementation of DigiLocker and involved in software development so that they can be given required orientation. Secretary (IT) A  & N Administration will be inaugurating the workshop as chief guest.
