MP to hold fast at Bhatu Basti Jn. today

Due to continued interruptions by the opposition in Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha during entire second part of Budget Session from 5th March to 6th April this year, the normal legislative and other business which were meant for discussion on important issues related to common man could not be transacted. The opposition has been consistently disrupting the Parliament and did not allow the Government to bring important legislation which are aimed at making India stronger and better Nation. The expenses towards business of the Parliament is around Rs 2.5 lakh. In this budget session total lapse of business was for 128 hours . So it is the losses of tax payers  for around Rs.192 crores.
To protest against the opposition party and also to expose the undemocratic style of opposition party, Mr Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India will hold day-long fasting tomorrow. In support of the Prime Minister, Mr Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament, A & N Islands, has also decided to hold day-long fasting from 10 am to 8 pm at Bhathu Basti Junction tomorrow. All party workers and followers of Bhartiya Janta Party have been requested to participate the day-long fasting along with Mr Bishnu Pada Ray in support of Mr Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India from 10.00 am to 20.00 pm on April 12.
