MP visits Prothrapur, Port Mout

Mr. Bishnu Pada Ray, Member of Parliament on Sunday visited the Prothrapur (Ward No. 23 of PBMC) and interacted with local people who gathered in large numbers and appealed
for installation of street lights to the entire ward for the benefit of children, senior citizens and other general public. They also raised the problems of drinking water and construction of black top road for better connectivity. Mr. Ray ensured the public that he will make all possible efforts to fulfil their demands.
Mr. Ray also visited Port Mout village in the forenoon of the same day and interacted with a large assembly of farmers of the area, who complained about frequent interruption of power supply, particularly in night hours causing great inconvenience to school students, senior citizens and the handicapped. In any emergencies, the situation worsens. They also pointed that almost all the footpaths are in a worse condition, which needed immediate repairs to avoid casualties and accidents. Mr. Ray noted the issues and ensured to take up the matter with the higher authorities of the administration for amicable settlement of the issues and also to fulfil the demands.
