Outreach RCH camp at Sub-center Wandoor

An Outreach RCH Camp was organized by the District Health Society of the South Andaman District Administration at Sub Centre Wandoor today under the National Health Mission. Mr Ram Bala, Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Wandoor, who also graced the occasion, urged the villagers to avail the benefit of the health camp. The Outreach RCH camps are being organized by the DHS to provide the specialist health care services at the door steps of rural populace at the community level, in which Antenatal Checkup of the pregnant women, screening of children and general out-patient are being conducted by the specialists.
All together 58 patients were screened in the camp, of which 15 antenatal cases, 12 children and 31 Out Patients were screened and medicines provided the medicines in the camp itself. Dr. Kusum Kunwar Senior Gynecologist, Dist. Hospital Garachrama, Dr. Ratna Kumari, Pediatrician (HOD), ANIIMS and Dr. Ajay Raj S, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine ANIIMS conducted the camp.
Ms. Sakhala Sil, Member Zilla Parishad, Wandoor expressed gratitude to the District Health Society, South Andaman for organizing such camp for benefit of the villagers.
