Theft at Vijay Baugh quarter

A case of burglary has been reported at Aberdeen Police Station on Sunday. In his written complaint, Sudhanshu K Sahoo, Petty Officer (COM), Regulating Staff Onboard INS Investigator informed that on May 26 he was informed by the ship crew that a theft has been committed in the residence of N K Singh PO log(OC) at Vijay Baugh, who is on leave till May 31. Sahoo visited the quarter and found that the hinges were broken and items scattered inside the room. As the occupant of the quarter was on leave, an assessment of the burglary could not be conducted. The Police has reportedly launched an investigation in the matter.

42 yr old booked for vending liquor without license

The Aberdeen Police has arrested a 42 year resident of Phoenix Bay on Monday for serving liquor in full public glare. As per reports, three Police Constables during patrol near Fisheries Jetty, Phoenix Bay, noticed a person serving some liquid substance to people in the area. They cops tried to nab the persons, who managed to flee from the spot. However, the Police arrested the seller, who identified himself as A. Pandi S/o Late. T. Addikalam, private worker by profession. Upon search, one bottle of 750 ml IMFL (Deluxe Whisky), packaged drinking water and glasses were found in the bag of the accused, who failed to produce documents pertaining to the items. The items were seized after observing codal formalities and the accused booked under relevant sections of the law. Further investigation is underway.
